"If a society tolerates intolerance, it enables the spread of intolerance." This is the so-called paradox of tolerance.

However, the paradox dissolves when tolerance is not seen as a moral standard but as a contract within social structures. If someone does not adhere to the terms of this contract, they are not entitled to the protection it can offer.

Or in other words: The intolerant do not deserve tolerance. Neonazis, fascists and racists do not deserve tolerance.
